We shifted our focus to precast concrete products more than 15 years ago. Today, our fleet includes specially designed equipment needed to safely move these oversize loads safely across town or across the country.
Kevin (Stowie) learned the transport trade from his father, the original founder of Stow’s Transport. Kevin bought his first truck at just 22 years’ old, motivated by a strong work ethic and passion for the industry.
Kevin took the helm of Stow’s Transport in 2005 and has continued to guide the growth and reputation of the business over the years since.
Steven (Poddy) has more than 30 years’ experience in transport, spending most of his time working in the heavy haulage sector. Steven is known for his expertise in transporting precast concrete products and his commitment to safety.
He was heavily involved in developing safety procedures for operating steerable jinkers. His project management skills, together with a deep knowledge of regulatory and safety requirements, contribute to Stow’s Transport’s outstanding reputation in the industry.
Stow’s Transport were preferred carrier for Enco Precast who supplied the precast bridge deck units for the Byrrill Creek Rd Bridge Upgrade. Due to access constraints onsite and the length of the deck units delivery to the project site was technically challenging. Stow’s worked with us to find a solution, resulting in the units being delivered without any problems. I found the experience to be positive and would recommend Stow’s Transport to people that require specialist Precast Transport.
